understanding of how health and safety affects their role. This course will help you pick through the relevant legislation. It will also outline general construction site hazards while providing practical steps that can be taken to ensure a safe site. |
| Who will benefit? | This course is particularly intended for employees of small to medium sized contractors, building and engineering students about to start working on construction sites and others such as sole-traders providing support to the industry. This course can also be used as part of the preparation training for the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) health and safety test. |
| What will I learn? | Delegates will gain an understanding of the relevant legal requirements and their responsibilities on projects. They will also understand the principle hazards in construction work and an appreciation of the safety precautions necessary in regard to a wide variety of site operations. |
